The Lake House
Both of us watched “Il Mare” before so more or less already knew the story. Was interesting too see it unfurled in another setting and country. Though I can’t remember much about the first film, I think the novelty of it struck me more the first time and made me wonder if the two would meet. The latter film doesn’t give me that feeling for some reason.
The Lake House seems to move at a slower pace for both of us than the korean version. That said, I still think the basic premise of two people getting together is still a wonderful idea, even if I had to suspend logic (of time paradoxes) to accept it! Hehe, me and yh are such an example! We met almost 12 years ago, and took our own sweet time to finally get together
