Two years ago, i came here with a group of friends. Silly us actually walked two hours to see this waterfall. Had a lot of fun but super tiring. This time round i took a bit of a short cut and used a cab. Took 20 min and strolled in with yh still think its a beautiful place even with the slight drizzle

We started from Lengshuikeng and headed down towards Jyuansih waterfalls. After a short hike through Mt. Cising, we reached our destination - a 20m waterfall. Not very nice as it was fenced up but worth the climb since it was fresh air all the way! We made our way out to Jingshan recreational area for a quick tea break photo shows the view from the cafe.

Bus 260 to 阳明山. Only 15 元!

Woke up to a rather cloudy day with a bit of rain but we decided to go ahead with heading up to 阳明山 anyway. The bus was conveniently just opposite our hotel. Looking forward to the hot spring there

火锅午餐

We got to upgrade from 蒙古铐肉to 火锅but i think the former should be more interesting esp that we had steam boat dinner the night before. Then we went on to martyr’s shrine and the national palace.

Good morning! Stayed at the very nice Twinstar Hotel in Taichung. Today we’re heading back to our starting point in Taipei. Luckily we’ve still got two more days to visit a few more places. Just got on the coach and will be on the freeway quite soon.

Alcohol here is super cheap. 5 litres mini keg of Heineken @ $36. Asahi rows and rows. Why can’t singapore be like this?!

Yet another toilet break! We stopped at a temple 4 hrs after lunch and 2 hrs from the last toilet break on the way to ?? after a brief stop at taroko gorge. Been travelling and drifting in and out of sleep whole day. It’s so tiring! More tired than travelling up the mountain yesterday. 3 hours to go! Looks like we’ve hit the coast.

花连 Les Duex Magut Cafe n Tea

We reached 花连 after over 5 hours of travel. There was a bit of a jam on the mountain roads but we eventally got to the aborignal performance and a simple dinner. The hotel we checked in is definitely better than Kilin! We decided to explore the area a bit and walked round the neighbourhood. There was quite a bit of activity down the main road and we chanced upon a quaint cafe with swings for seats! The courtyard was full of cats, guess the owner must love cats
