Having a Merry Wii Christmas and New Year
After a great session of late night Wii gaming with Ben and his cousins, I decided to get the much talked-about console for casual gaming for our home. We headed down to AMK Hub’s Funz Centre where they had the sets available. It was rather unfortunate that the local distributor chose to bundle a rather boring set of games that we didn’t really want but had to purchase anyway. In the end we chose another 3 games that we would rather play… Ubisoft’s Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, Lucasart’s Star Wars the Complete Saga and Rockstar Game’s Table Tennis.
We had a rather fun time with Yh’s family after a nice steamboat dinner getting everyone into the game once we had it setup in the living room. Most popular for the night seemed to be golf as everyone agreed that it felt quite realistic. Rabbids 2 had a rather warm reception though the controls got some getting use to. Was rather funny to see 4 of us furiously shaking away at the controls to get the rabbids going.
Hope to get everyone together again next week for a Wii New Year celebration. Also looking forward to getting Wii-Fit when it gets resupplied at Funz Centre. Seems like a rather nice way to involve the whole body in the games.. Wonder if it can be used with more than 1 Wii-Fit at a time?
On reflection, the recent purchase of Xbox 360 Elite seems more suited for myself since mostly got only FPS games which Yh doesn’t appreciate. At least with the Wii, there will be games we can enjoy together with aching arms
Surprise!

Surprise!

Mic surprised me with a delivery of a basket of red roses and a cheesecake from nydc to my office this afternoon. So sweet of him!
He has been asking me more questions about the office and my days. Did not think much about it, as I also thought, finally he is showing some interest in my work life. On the day before the flowers are delivered, he interrupted something i was talking about to ask me what am I doing in office the next day. Sounds suspicious right? But I did not think much about it, as it could be his usual ploy to divert my attention so that I would stop bugging him.
Too bad, when the flowers and cake arrived, I was in a meeting. I had a missed call so I returned the call only to discover that it is the number of the delivery guy from Far East Floral
,which sort of dimishes the surprise element.
Nevertheless I was pleased by the thoughtful surprise that my hubby had planned for me.
